A Modern Twist on the Melted Clock

The Salvador clock project began in March 2020, at the onset of the first lockdown. As people around the world experienced a sense of time slowing down, designer Shelly Agronin sought to create a clock that embodied this unique period. The result is a modern and minimalist decorative clock that adds a touch of artistic elegance to any space.

What sets the Salvador clock apart is its simplicity and minimalism. The clock's body is made from high-quality and lightweight aluminum, giving it a sleek and contemporary look. The choice of material was deliberate, aiming to create a slim and stylish design that would seamlessly blend into various home styles.

The clock is available in two finishing options: a matte black powder coating with classic gold hands or a brushed natural aluminum with black hands. These options allow for customization and ensure that the clock can complement any interior design aesthetic.

Functionality was a key consideration in the design process. The Salvador clock requires no installation; simply place it on a shelf or desk and enjoy its presence. The clock's quiet mechanism further enhances the perception of time moving at a leisurely pace, creating a calming and peaceful atmosphere.

Measuring at 292X120X62 mm (11.5X 4.7X2.4 inches), the Salvador clock is compact and versatile, making it suitable for various spaces. It comes packaged in a cardboard box, ensuring its safe delivery to your doorstep.

The Salvador clock was designed and realized by Shelly Agronin at Studio Wallaby in Yoqneam-Ilit, Israel. The design process involved extensive research and experimentation to find the perfect shape that would be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Hand sketches, as well as paper and cardboard 3D models, were utilized to explore different shapes and proportions.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2022. The award acknowledges the Salvador clock's outstanding creativity and ingenuity, as well as its contribution to improving the quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
